MEETING NOTICE

PLACE: WHEATON BILLAGE CRAFT BUILDING

MILLVILLE, NEW JERSEY

Minutes of August 11, 2009

     George Conover called the meeting to order at 7:40 PM with 20 members present.  The minutes of July 14th were read and accepted as read.  In Karen Rivera’s absence, George read the Treasurer’s report was read and accepted as read.  Report on file. 

     Mays Landing Ambulance called George and will be at our Regatta and wanted to let George know that they will have the ability to refill air tanks if anyone needs it.

     Two vehicles are still not set.  Warren and Mitch Brown’s brother will be asked to come with his pickup truck for Saturday or Sunday.  Mitch will have his pleasure boat there as a tow boat.

     Peggy Wendt said that a flagger is still needed on the starting line.  Anyone interested please see Peggy.  A lunch and beverages will be provided.

     The Port A Pots will still be provided for the Pits by Hamilton Township.  Need to order one for the Starting Line which will be provided by WRBA.

     K & K Insurance papers have been received by George and he has to give them to Hamilton Township.  Brian Small’s hotel reservation for him and his rescue team will be made this week.

     The Boating Safety Certificate is needed by all who intend to race but is NOT the registration staff’s responsibility to check.

     The Program Book Committee has everything together and will be sending all to Jim Stewart for printing this week.  20 page books are $672.00 and 24 page books are $712.00.

     There is one more meeting before our Regatta and the work session will be Friday September 11, 2009 from 9 AM until ??.

     With no further business, old or new, Mitch Brown made a motion to adjourn and Jodi Brown second the motion.  Adjourned at 8:10 PM.
